Ottawa County’s Best of the Best continues

This non-profit organization is campaigning hard, are you?

There are three weeks left to vote in Ottawa County’s Best of the Best contest. This week there is a paper ballot on page 3 of section C in the Land & Sea section. For electronic voting, we have tried to make it easier! Go to our website,, and underneath the weather forecast on the right hand side click on the Best of the Best logo and it will take you to the survey.

There is one vote per person, no photo copies of the paper ballot will be accepted and at least half of the ballot needs to be filled out for the vote to count. The contest will end on August 31 and winners will be announced at an awards ceremony at Mon Ami on Thursday, September 18, and will be announced in print in September 25’s Beacon.

Businesses and organizations are encouraged to campaign to win! The winner of each category will receive a plaque with the title that they are the Best of the Best.
