This Sunday, June 22, from 1 p.m. until 4 p.m. residents can meet the Artists of Otterbein at a special open house in their honor. Sponsored by the Otterbein North Shore auxiliary, the artists are Ann Glasmire, Ruth Muntis and Bob Querns.
Glasmire makes the most popular item ever sold in the auxiliary gift shop: shirt savers. Muntis creates beautiful watercolors from nature which are made into greeting cards and prints, and Querns makes a huge variety of bird houses and other wooden items right in the Otterbein wood shop. The artists will be available to share their experiences and why they sought out these unique pastimes.
Otterbein North Shore is located at 9400 North Shore Blvd., in Danbury Township and is a Continuum Care Retirement Community offering independent and assisted living, as well as short-term rehabilitation in the Jane Baker House. For more information call Jo Ann Franks or Kirsten Trammel at 419-798-8250. Additional information regarding Otterbein Retirement Living Communities is available at otterbein.org.
