Citizens Organized for Responsible Development (C.O.R.D.) are circulating an Initiative Petition to put a new Port Clinton city ordinance on November’s ballot. Once on the ballot voters can adopt or reject the new ordinance. If approved in November, the new ordinance would require that any proposed sale or lease of City park land be approved by a citywide vote in a general election.
Petition signatures will be asked for door-to-door over the next several weeks. Residents can also contact a C.O.R.D. member if they want to sign.
Representative of C.O.R.D. are Don Finke, 419-732-2962, and Rick Noderer, 419-734-4870.
