On Saturday, May 3, Bataan Memorial Elementary School hosted the fifth annual Ottawa County Family Fun Fair. Children from ages birth to 8 were invited to attend, with their parents or legal guardians, to participate in activities and to learn about local services. The program was put on by Family and Children First with Ottawa County Job and Family Services.
The event had free food and drinks, games, activities, prizes, a Pop-Up Playground and information.
“There is information on services and things for parents and children to do together,” said Stephanie Kowal, Director of Ottawa County Job and Family Services. “The information is all the things that are available for families throughout the community. Last year we had 279 people, the event is growing and growing each year.”
