Artists, vendors invited to participate in Port Clinton’s first Christkindl Markt Featured

Artists, artisans, musicians and food vendors are wanted for Port Clinton’s first Christkindl Markt, an open-air Christmas Market based on German traditions. The Greater Port Clinton Area Arts Council presents the Christkindl Markt from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 7, in historic downtown Port Clinton.

As in the custom when the Christmas Market is celebrated in Germany, artists and artisans will offer their works for sale in individually decorated stalls in the US Bank parking lot on 2nd Street. Arts, crafts, holiday gifts, delicious food, yummy treats, warm beverages and entertainers playing holiday music – all will be available at the market.

In the spirit of the holidays, each booth will provide a bag of non-perishable food items for the local food bank. There is no booth rental.

Artists, artisans, musicians and food vendors interested in participating in Christkindl Markt should contact Carol Morgan of the Greater Port Clinton Arts Council by email at This email address is being protected from spambots.
