All proceeds from the event benefit CASA, the Court Appointed Special Advocates program that provides specially trained volunteers to work with families and children identified through the courts as abused, neglected or dependent. These volunteers work to be the voice of the child in the courtroom, making sure a qualified, compassionate adult will fight for and protect a child’s right to be safe, to be treated with dignity and respect and to learn and grow in the safe embrace of a loving family.
Last year’s event was sold out, so advance ticket purchase is advised. Tickets can be purchased at the CASA office at 1848 East Perry St, Suite 80, in the Sutton Center in Port Clinton; or at NBOH’s Port Clinton or Oak Harbor offices. Tickets are $30 and include hors d’oeuvres, desserts, a silent auction, raffle and a live auction. A cash bar is available.
