GPCAAC Art Walk season finale

The Greater Port Clinton Area Arts Council, Historic Downtown Port Clinton Art Walk, a free downtown art event, invite you to a Lake Erie Celebration season finale Sept. 26, from 5-8 p.m.

Along with the GPCAAC, art galleries, restaurants and other businesses will be wrapping up the Battle of 1812 Celebrations with a Big Bang with the Arts.  Various restaurants and businesses will provide a musical interlude as well as hosting an Artist between 5 and 8 p.m. as art patrons wander from one art stop to the next.

"Art Walk was formed by the Greater Port Clinton Area Arts Council (GPCAAC) to further generate public interest and solidify downtown Port Clinton as a destination for the arts.  Rain or shine, Port Clinton's Art Walk , I feel,  has been a win-win for not only exposure for the artists but also the downtown community as a whole.  People seeing what can be accomplished is monumental to our growth as a community involved in the arts." stated Keith Fleming  gallery owner and GPCAAC ART Walk Co-chair.

"Raising greater awareness of the arts-both locally and outside the city-this event is of interest to all age groups and is family friendly," added Jen Nickel artist and Chair.

There is NO FEE for the artists to set up shop but reservations must be made prior.  For more information please contact either Jen Nickel 419-341-0804 or Keith Fleming 419-734-5235.
