Ottawa County CASA is recruiting volunteers

Ottawa County Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) is recruiting volunteers interested in working with and advocating for children involved in the court system. CASA volunteers are appointed by the court to do an independent investigation of the facts and people surrounding a child and be the voice of that child in the courtroom. Volunteers complete an initial 30 hour training on child development, cultural diversity, child welfare laws and requirements as well as court room procedures.

CASA is in need of additional volunteers and will begin a pre-service training in the near future.  For more information, contact Connie Cornett at 419-301-0225 or This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. .
