Dust off your wings and shine up your tap shoes, because the theme of the Thursday, June 27, Art Walk from 5-8 p.m. in Historic Downtown Port Clinton is Dance of the Mayflies. Dance teachers Carol Clemons and Toni Garrett will give attendees the opportunity to experience some creative dance interpretive movements with a few mayfly touches. Dancing will commence at 5, 6 and 7 p.m. at Veteran’s Park, Monroe and East 2nd Streets. Visitors are welcomed at any one of these times to dance for about 30 minutes.
The Art Walk, sponsored by the Greater Port Clinton Area Arts Council, is free and family friendly. Businesses will be open and local artists will be demonstrating and selling their original art throughout the historic downtown area, including at the Ida Rupp Library. All are welcome to Port Clinton’s Art Walk where dreams “may fly.”
