Magruder Auxiliary volunteers honored

Magruder Hospital Auxiliary conducted their Annual Appreciation Lunch at which volunteers were honored for their hours of service in various areas of the hospital during 2012. This year the volunteers were treated with a visit from “Eleanor Roosevelt, First Lady of the World,” portrayed by Linda Laronge, as entertainment for the afternoon. 

The Auxiliary had 44 volunteers recognized with pins for their many hours of service to Magruder Hospital through December 2012. Volunteers honored for their hours of service this year were:

The Magruder Hospital Auxiliary has approximately 250 members of which 100 of those members actively volunteer their time. In 2012, these volunteers donated approximately 12,000 hours of their time in various areas of the hospital.
