The plaque, which will hang in the Conference Center, reads, in part, “Be it known that through the hard work and dedication of Ms. Galvin, the Sutton Center became a reality in 2006. Through her continued perseverance, love for helping others and her undying efforts in supporting the Ottawa County non-profit agencies the Sutton Center has continued to grow in its service to others.”

Having the offices of many of the helping agencies in Ottawa County located in one central location at the Sutton Center has helped coordinate services for those in need and those working with the agencies. Agencies with offices in the Sutton Center include the American Red Cross, CASA, Firelands Counseling and Recovery Services, Heartbeat, The Salvation Army, Stein Hospice, Transitional Housing, United Way, and WSOS Early Childhood Center and Family Development.
