Joan Washburn has joined the Bohlander Challenge Gift in honor of Ron Case for United Way in Ottawa County. Joan will offer her training session, “Advancing on the Playing Field of Life” on Monday, Feb. 25, from 6:30 - 7:30 p.m. at The Sutton Center, 1854 E Perry St., Port Clinton. The suggested donation of $10 will be given to United Way. For every dollar raised, Tom Bohlander will match it.
Washburn, a certified life coach who lives in Marblehead and travels throughout the United States as a life coach and corporate trainer, asks, “Would it be alright with you if life got easier? What if you were to discover that not only are games played on playing fields, but that life itself is played on a ‘Playing Field’? In life, just as in a game, we want to move something forward and produce a useful result (a new marketing plan, a book, rose garden, increased revenue). All playing fields have rules of engagement. In order to be successful we need to know what these rules are. The ‘Playing Field’ here is about what it takes to bring a project from idea into action in order to produce a result.”
