Former PC Fire Chief Passes at age 72
Charles E. “Chuck” O’Neal, a 38 year veteran of the Port Clinton Volunteer Fire Department and Fire Chief for 8 years, passed away late Monday evening at Edgewood Manor Nursing Center. 
Chuck joined the Fire Department in 1966 and became Fire Chief in 1996, retiring in 2004. He was also past president of the Port Clinton Fireman’s Association. He was 72.
His funeral will be this Friday, January 20. His full obituary is also included in this week’s edition of The Beacon.
