United Way in Ottawa County Challenge Match

Tom Bohlander, partner in Fairway Villas, has issued a challenge to the residents and businesses of Ottawa County.

He will give $7500 to United Way in honor of his late business partner Ron Case if United Way can raise a matching $7500 by February 28.

Bohlander saw the United Way article in last week’s Beacon and answered with this heartfelt tribute to a friend who loved Ottawa County and found value in the programs necessary to continue to sustain the programs so important to Ottawa County communities.

The total of $15,000 will mean United Way can continue investing in programs and initiatives that advance the common good in Ottawa County in the areas of Education, Income and Health.

Bohlander and United Way are asking residents and businesses to consider a gift to United Way or an additional gift to United Way for those who have already contributed to the 2012 United Way campaign.
