For the third year Coffee Express of Port Clinton has been sponsoring the Mimi Campbell Christmas Program to provide Port Clinton families with a better Christmas.

The program honors the late Mimi Campbell, a former regular customer who was part of the large and welcoming Coffee Express family.
“Last year we (the Mimi Campbell Christmas Program) were able to assist 20 families. This year, we will be assisting 26 or 27. There is more of a need this year. We have been contacted on Facebook by family and friends of those in need,” said Coffee Express owner Tina Thompson.
Coffee Express’s Rebecca Detray has been spearheading this year’s campaign and has taken this week off from work to devote to making purchases and organizing the program. All the gifts will be delivered on Friday, but there is still a pressing need for monetary contributions to be used for gas cards and gift cards.
To make a contribution, stop at Coffee Express at 128 W. Second Street in Port Clinton or call 419-734-2089.
