Community Merry Christmas in Marblehead

The community is invited get in the Christmas Spirit at St. Paul Lutheran Church on Dec. 16 at 6:30 p.m.  Through the eyes and hearts of children there will be  focus on the real meaning of Christmas. The play, ‘Merry Christmas! – an experience in Joy, Peace, Light & Love in Jesus!’ will be followed by a Birthday Party for Jesus. There will be ice cream and cake and an opportunity to give a present to Jesus by serving others.

The service project is to gather items for our deployed military and make them “Thank You” cards. Those attending are invited to consider bringing any of the following items: batteries, sun block, disposable razors, body lotion, toothpaste, packaged snacks/granola/trail mix, power bars, and gum. There will be materials to make the cards available. 
The community is also invited to celebrate Christmas Eve at a 5 p.m. service for families and kids of all ages, featuring puppets, carols and communion.  Candlelight, carols and communion services will also be held at 7 p.m. at St. John, 117 Stone Street, Marblehead, and again at St. Paul, 541 Church Road, Marblehead, at 10:30 p.m. (music starting at 10:10).
