Carolina, and from a few blocks away.

  PCHS Alumni returned to Port
Clinton for the All-School Reunion Sept. 28 & 29.
At the Friday night football game Port Clinton High School Alumni were
able to enjoy entertainment by The Ohio State University Marching Band,
thanks to the sponsorship of The Ottawa County OSU Alumni Club, Port
Clinton Athletic Boosters and Port Clinton Music Boosters. The largest ever
PCHS Alumni Band, 106 members strong, joined the fun of marching from the high school to stadium. They joined the PCHS Marching Band for a
postgame show and were introduced by graduating class. The most recent
grads from 2012 participated, as well as Peg Cooper Bolte, PCHS Class of
1938.

A large number of alumni took part in the farewell tour of the Port
Clinton Middle School, which was formerly a junior high and high school.
Alumni shared memories and even left their mark by writing their names on
a wall inside the school.  At the conclusion of the tours, PCHS Touch of
Class, vocal ensemble, led alumni in the Alma Mater.
On Saturday, over 100 PCHS Alumni gathered at the PCHS cafeteria for a brunch and entertainment. Alumni Association President Bo Loeffler welcomed PCHS Alumni and guests. Patrick Adkins, Superintendent of Schools, highlighted PCHS academic and district achievements.
Guests enjoyed learning about current PCHS students as Loeffler
introduced PCHS Senior Brandon Rosiar and Junior Cheyenne Meek. Rosiar,
a member of the PCHS Orchestra, also plays guitar in a band called “Before
Your Eyes”. The band has toured throughout the East Coast and their new
record “Redemption” was charted number 29 on Billboard Heartseekers Chart
and number 30 on Billboard Top Christian Albums. Cheyenne Meek swims for the Redskin Swim team, was a two-time State Qualifier and was recently named
a Scholastic All-American. A brunch was prepared by Coffee Express and served
with the help of PCHS DECA and Leadership Council students.
The Earliest and Latest graduates were honored as well as the alumni that
traveled the farthest. Sharon Underwood Johnson and Vicki Riemenschneider
Adams, both members of the Class of 1962, traveled the farthest from the
state of Oregon. Jack Lano, PCHS Class of 1940, visiting from California,
was the earliest graduate in attendance. Judy Howerth Dosher and Teresa
Ballreich Williams, both from the Class of 1984, were the most recent
graduates at the Brunch.
Following the brunch, alumni took tours of both Port Clinton High School
and the new addition at Bataan Memorial Elementary School.
Saturday evening over 250 alumni rocked Kokomo Bay. They enjoyed food and friends while listening to the music of the newly formed Alumni All-Star Garage Band featuring PCHS alumni Bo Loeffler (‘75), Paul Ochs (‘86), backup singer Sue Loeffler Hany (‘76), Mike Reichman (94), Mike’s dad and honorary Redskin for the night Chuck Reichman, John Schaffner (‘67) and Bob Hille (‘69). During the evening alumni also enjoyed the Port Clinton Harvest Festival and gatherings hosted at other downtown locations.
