Rare Snowy Owl seen in OC

The rare snowy owl has been spotted recently around Ottawa County.

Experts from the Black Swamp Observatory said it’s a rare visitor to this area, however, this has been an exceptional year, and there have been numerous reports of these gorgeous birds of the arctic tundra showing up across the Midwest. The snowy owl was spotted sitting on top of a barn near the overpass on Ohio 53 by Brian Sims of Port Clinton, and just south of Port Clinton by Oak Harbor resident, Tiffanie Hayes.
