Bay Point Resort and Marina:  Growing for the fun of it!

Anyone who has driven “around the horn” of the Marblehead peninsula has to be amazed at the number of construction vehicles they have seen entering Bay Point Resort and Marina.  “It’s due to our continued growth,” says Chris Malfara, Bay Point’s General Manager, adding “We’re now a full service resort and real estate development.  It’s really a fun place.  The Members love it.”

Bay Point has re-invented itself, adding several resort amenities along with one of the most successful real estate developments in the Midwest.  Since 2008, total real estate sales have been in excess of $30 million dollars (land only) in the four distinct residential neighborhoods in Bay Point.  The neighborhoods: Bay Point Shores (33 lakefront lots), Sunset Cove (16 bayfront lots), and the newest neighborhood called The Reserve at Bay Point (10 lakefront lots), have all been met in the market with great enthusiasm.  All of the residential lots have been sold in these neighborhoods except for six remaining lots in The Reserve, which was only platted in July of this year.  The fourth neighborhood is Sunset Cove Villas, a condominium development with its focus on Cape Cod style villas.  Three villa sites remain available in the current phase, with twenty villas being sold in the last three years.
