Port Clinton girls basketball coach Toby Bickel is getting closer to that haircut! He told his team that he wasn’t going to get his hair cut until they won 13 games this season. Well, following Friday night’s win over Sandusky St. Mary’s, they managed to up their overall record to 11-5 and 7-4 in the Sandusky Bay Conference.
Super sophomores Hope Thorbahn and Tiffany Colston led the Lady Redskins combining for 37 points in the win. It is the first time since 2007 that the ladies have posted 10 wins.
Earlier in the week, the Redskins had their way with Huron at home, 56-43, as diminutive senior guard Alex Stephenson set the career record for three point field goals.
