Gose's 4 TDs lead Genoa to big win

Casey Gose was a one-man wrecking crew for the Genoa Comets in their win over the Oak Harbor Rockets last Friday.

The senior scored four touchdowns on the night, one rushing, one receiving, one on a punt return and the other on a kickoff return to lead Genoa to a 63-7 victory over Oak Harbor to improve to 2-0 on the season.

Oak Harbor-Genoa football tickets pre-sale

Pre-sale tickets for this Friday’s Genoa at Oak Harbor varsity football game are on sale at both high school Main Offices. Advance tickets cost $6 for adults and $4 for students while all tickets will be $6 at the gate on Friday night.  Fans are urged to purchase tickets in advance to avoid expected long lines at the gates before the game.

Oak Harbor defeats Genoa in volleyball

Rebekah Rayburn goes up for a kill in Oak Harbor’s defeat of Genoa Saturday.

On Saturday Oak Harbor defeated Genoa in volleyball in a non-conference match. After a decisive win in the first set, 25-17, the Lady Rockets came back from a 7-0 deficit to take the second set, also 25-17. Genoa took the hard-fought third set 32-30, before Oak Harbor came back to take the fourth set 25-21.
