The holiday season brings out the best in people. Again this year Danbury Township, Lakeside and Marblehead residents and area businesses enthusiastically helped the Danbury Holiday Bureau, and provided 131 families, for a total of 419 people, with food and other necessities to brighten their lives during the Christmas season.
It’s Girl Scout cookie time. The Girl Scout Cookie Program is the largest girl-run business in the world, and it empowers girls with the strength, abilities and drive they’ll need to become accomplished women who benefit themselves, their family and the world.
The American FFA Degree is the highest degree of advancement in the FFA, and is achieved by only the elite members. The prestigious honor was bestowed on all four Oak Harbor/Penta FFA graduates. Achieving this honor and in attendance were Tyler Kitzler, Lanee Sandwisch, and Jackie Lacumsky; while Bret Braun was recognized though not in attendance. All four members participated in many of the chapter’s career development teams, while being actively involved in a number of school and community activities.
