If one of your New Year's resolutions is self-improvement, don't just head for the gym. Consider enhancing your resume with coursework or a degree from Terra Community College.
To make the process as easy as possible, Terra will host an open registration day Thursday, January 3 from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Spring semester classes begin Jan. 7.
Current and prospective students are asked to report to the Admissions Office in Building A, Suite 100, and then they will be directed to their respective division offices for advising. Also, current students can register on their student portals.
"We know that many people are involved with holiday plans, and registering for classes often takes a back seat," said Cory Stine, Assistant Director of Enrollment Services. "There will be extra people available all day on January 3 to help get students registered for classes."
At just $119.65 per credit hour, Terra offers an education at a reasonable cost. Students can choose from more than 100 majors and certificate programs, or take the first two years of a bachelor's degree at a fraction of the cost and then transfer their credits to a university to finish.
Schedules are online at www.terra.edu http://www.terra.edu/ or hard copies are available on campus.
For more information, contact Admissions and Enrollment Services at 419-559-2349 or toll-free 866-AT-TERRA, ext. 2349 or register by directly contacting the Records Office at 419-559-2333.
