Oak Harbor Karate Class Members Place in Tournament |

On March 15, the Yuson Hawaiian Kenpo Karate Class members in Oak Harbor, attended the 12th. Annual Black Dragon's Den Martial Arts Tournament in Adrian, Michigan. They won 13 different medals. The place winners were as follows: Sensei Jeff Behm placed 2nd in Master Black Belt Open-Hand Kata (forms) and 1st in Master Black Belt Kumite (sparring). Robb Cupp placed 1st in Black Belt Open-Hand Kata, 2nd in Black Belt Weapons Kata, and 3rd in Black Belt Board Breaking. These awards carried enough points for Robb to achieve Black Belt Grand Champion, over 35 years old.
In the Pee Wee Novice Division, Austin Underwood placed 1st in Open-Hand Kata, 2nd in Weapons Kata, and 1st in the Kiai contest. William Cupp placed 2nd in Open-Hand Kata, 3rd in Weapons Kata, and 3rd in Kumite.
In the Jr. Pee Wee Novice Division, Andy Buderer placed 2nd in Open-Hand Kata.
