coach.jpgDuring a special BCS board meeting, Mike May was hired as a social studies teacher and the successor to Gary Quisno as high school head football coach.  Gary Quisno tendered his coaching resignation in December after 29 years of dedication and investment in building the district's football program to its present level of success.
May, a Vanlue native, currently teaches in the high school social studies department of St. Mary's Memorial High School in Auglaize County and serves as their assistant football coach.  He previously held assistant coaching positions at Elmwood High School and Ohio Northern University. Mike's wife, Kelly, currently teaches in the Elida school system and is also a lawyer. The Mays have two children - a son who attends kindergarten and a daughter in preschool.
