The regular February 26th board meeting was postponed for one week because of inclement weather and was ultimately held at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, March 5. 
Superintendent Diane Kershaw presented a commendation to past Board President, Rick Bast, on behalf of the Board, Superintendent and Treasurer, in gratitude for his dedicated and very successful tenure.
Commendations were awarded by Principal Keith Thorbahn and Assistant Principal and AD Alison Wolf, to Cody Magrum, Kirk Tank and Keith Witt, recent title winners at the OHSAA State Wrestling tournament in Columbus.  Commendations were also presented to Coaches George Bergman and Bill Scherf.  Jake Cramer, Konner Witt, and Mike Mallernee were also members of the six-man Oak Harbor wrestling team participating in the tournament.
Carole Burnworth presented a report relative to special education and its standards, changes, enrollment, funding, and goals, with the next program revision expected in July of 2008.  Sharon Barnett discussed Value-Added curriculum and methods of raising student achievement in the areas of reading and math.
