Several local senior basketball players will be participating in the
Annual Wendy’s WLEC All Star Basketball games to be played on
Wednesday, March 19 at Perkins High School. The games pit area senior
stars against the top players from the Sandusky Bay Conference.
For the girls, Danbury’s Stefini Kosa and Ciara Johnson will be play on
the “Area Stars” team against Oak Harbor’s Erica Lipstraw, Marissa
Bergman, Danielle Zurvalec and Port Clinton’s Mari Monaco for the SBC
All Stars.
In the boys’ game, Nick Wiedenhoft will play for Steve Keller, Jr. for
the Area Boys All Star team. For the boys’ SBC stars, Port Clinton’s
Kyle Millinger and Jarrod Cox will play, as well as Oak harbor’s J.C.
Hemminger.
