 Dear Editor,
The first ever "Classy Closet" sale was a huge success and generated over $5,000 for our Humane Society animals. The three-day event ran on May 2, 3 and 4 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Mike Bassett was ever so kind to allow us to use his building, the old Fashion Bug, free of charge for this tremendously successful event. Thank you Mike and Michelle Coon.
Irene Phipps dreamed up this idea and spent days on planning and organizing this event.
Many shelter board members, volunteers and friends at the Humane Society pitched in with donating hours of their personal time and energy to add to the success of this sale.
Thank you to everyone who donated items and/or time to result in such a happy turnout for the event, and a big thank you to all of you who patronized this event.
