Playmakers Civic Theatre announces open auditions for the heartwarming comedy On Golden Pond on Monday and Tuesday, May 19 & 20, 7:30pm, at the theatre, 604 West Sixth Street, Port Clinton. On Golden Pond, by Ernest Thompson, is the loving story of Norman(80) and Ethel(70) Thayer as they spend their forty-eighth summer at their cottage in Maine.  Joining them in exploring life's lessons and relationships are daughter Chelsea, mailman Charlie, Chelsea's boyfriend Bill (ages approx. 35-45) and Bill's son Billy (age 12-14).  On Golden Pond will be produced July 10-13 and 17-20, 2008.  Persons interested in working technical positions are also encouraged to attend auditions.  For further information call director Nadine Jensen 419-734-4016.
