Alfred H. Brandenburg, 73, of Catawba Island and formerly of Chicago died April 24, 2008 at his residence. He was the beloved husband to  Esther J. (Nickel), father to Allen Robert, Steven Alfred, Bryan  Kenneth; beloved brother to Leona Dorenkott, Ted Brandenburg and Pauline Szarka. He had many adored nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews. Private memorial services will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Stein Hospice of Sandusky, OH or American Cancer Society.
