deca.jpgOak Harbor DECA members recently completed their first community cookbook. The cookbook includes recipes from family, friends, teachers and community members. In addition, the books include a helpful tips section and a dedication to Sgt. Keith Kline who gave his life fighting for our country.
Students were responsible for collecting recipes, selecting the cover, font styles, editing and layout of the cookbooks. They are also responsible for marketing and sales of the cookbooks. The books will be available on April 18 at The National Bank of Oak Harbor from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The cost of the cookbook is $10, and the proceeds will be used to support students attending the International Career Development Conference in Atlanta, Georgia.
