Marlene was employed at Demore's Fish Den in Port Clinton and was of the Catholic Faith.

Gary Ewald Oliver, 78 years of age, and a resident of Lorain, passed away Saturday, February, 23, 2008 at his home following a brief illness.
He was born December 4, 1929 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin where he was raised and lived until enlisting in the United States Navy.  After serving in the Navy, he returned to Milwaukee and in 1952 he moved to Tacoma,  Washington.

Orin E. “Tubby” Lessentine, 81, of Port Clinton, died Feb. 21, 2008 at Riverview Health Care Campus, Oak Harbor, OH.  He was born Jan. 2, 1927 in Lakeside, the son of Viola Bertha (Lessentine) Mack.  He married Heraldeen Blood and she preceded him in death.  Mr. Lessentine worked for the Lakeside-Marblehead Railroad as a brakeman and later for Ford Motor Co. in Sandusky.  He was a member of St. John Lutheran Church, Marblehead, Loyal Order of Moose Lodge 1610, Port Clinton, and the American Legion.
