Ralph D. Boling, 74, of Port Clinton, OH, passed away Friday, February
29, 2008 at the Stein Hospice Care Center, Sandusky, OH. He was born
on December 28, 1933 in Nile, OH, the son of James W. and Gwendolyn
(Hodge) Boling. Ralph worked as a laborer for Standard Products for
over 40 years retiring in 1993. He also drove a fish truck for many
years. Ralph was affiliated with the Church of Christ. He was a
trustee and an active member of the David W. Leonard Aerie #2295, a
member of the Homer D. Gardner Post #2480 and a past member of the
Moose Lodge #1610. Ralph loved to fish.

Robert J. Scott (Bob), age 79, passed away February 26, 2008 of
complications following surgery. A resident of Lakeside, Ohio, Bob is
survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Ruth, son Robert, daughter in
law Cynthia, and two granddaughters, Olivia and Malinda. He was
preceded in death by his parents, Robert J. and Margaret P. Scott, and
a sister, Joan.

Arlene Ruth Ravas, 73, of Catawba Island, died Wednesday, Feb. 27,
2008 at her home surrounded by her family. Arlene was married to her
high school sweetheart, Robert Ravas on Valentine's Day of 1953. After
50
years of marriage he preceded her in death on Dec. 28, 2003. Mrs.
Ravas was the loving mother of Mark (Lynne) Ravas of Hershey, PA, Allen
(Terry) Ravas of St Charles, IL; Sue (Tim) Davey of Asheville, NC, Ruth
(Doug) Endicott of Fishers, IN and Lee (Dale) Hayes of Delaware, OH.

Betty Jo Peters-Haselmire, 85, of Marblehead, died Monday February 25,
2008 at her residence. She was born August 28, 1922 in Toledo, the
daughter of William Wesley and Mary (Meeks) Wickerham.
Betty Jo held a Bachelors Degree from BGSU and a Masters Degree from
the University of Toledo and taught school in the Magaretta and Genoa
School districts and retired from the Fremont Schools. She was a
member of the Retired Teachers Association and the Danbury Senior
Center. Betty Jo loved quilting and was an excellent seamstress and
cook.
