George “Curly” Juby, 87, of Port Clinton, OH passed away Saturday
morning March 15, 2008 at H.B. Magruder Hospital in Port Clinton. He
was born February 2, 1921 in Lakeside, OH the son of the late John and
Anna (Butchko) Juby. George owned and operated City Bakery in Port
Clinton from 1960 until his retirement in 1992.

George Raymond Twarek, 85, of Marblehead, died Saturday, March 8, 2008
at Firelands Regional Medical Center, Main Campus, Sandusky, Ohio. He
was born on May 3, 1922 in Marblehead, Ohio, the son of the late
Michael and Anna (Hanik) Twarek. He was a sergeant in the United States
Army Infantry during WWII. In January 1946, he married Ruth Henershot,
and she preceded him in death.

Joel Keith Krynock, 60, of Lakeside, died unexpectedly on Monday, March
10, 2008 at Magruder Hospital in Port Clinton. He was born October 5,
1947 in Port Clinton, the son of Joseph and Harriet (Hetrick) Krynock.
Keith was a 1965 graduate of Danbury High School and graduated from
Baldwin Wallace College. He was employed for over 38 years at LaFarge
North America (formerly Standard Slag Company) and was a member of the
local chapter of the United Steelworkers. He was a member of St. John
Lutheran Church in Marblehead, a social member of the VFW Post 7572 of
Marblehead, was an avid Ohio State fan and just loved helping everyone
in any way he could.

Betty L. Kozlok, 86, of Port Clinton, died March 5 at Edgewood Manor
Nursing Center in Port Clinton. She was born August 22, 1921 in
Amsterdam, Ohio, the daughter of Albin and Jessie (Brown) Truex.
Betty was employed at the Standard Products Company during the war
while raising their new daughter alone as her husband was off fighting
in WWII. She later retired in 1980 from the former Perry Pharmacy.
She was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church, a 50 year
member of the Sunrise Garden Club and a member of the Women of the
Moose.
