Hazel E. (Snider) Jeremy, 90, of Port Clinton, Ohio died Tuesday, April
1, 2008 at Edgewood Manor Nursing Center, Port Clinton. She was born on
January 19, 1918, in Erie Twp., the daughter of the late H. Clifford
and Dorthea (Lewis) Snider. Hazel was a graduate of Oak Harbor High
School and also a graduate of The Ohio State University where she was a
member of Kappa Delta Sorority. On August 30, 1941, she married
Clarence Jeremy and he preceded her in death on August 26, 1990. She
was employed as a Home Service Representative for Ohio Public Service;
and as a payroll clerk at the former Standard Products in Port Clinton,
then in 1968 she worked as the office manager for D.B. Jeremy & Son
until she and her husband retired together in 1988.

Carroll A. Hetrick, 83, of Fremont, OH and formerly of Oak Harbor died
Thursday, April 3, 2008 in St Vincent Mercy Medical Hospital, Toledo,
OH. He was born on December 24, 1924 in Rice Township, to Abner and
Ida (Gahn) Hetrick. On January 15, 1949 in Oak Harbor, OH he married
Norma Jean Peters, and she preceded him in death in 2005. Carroll was
a member of St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church in Oak Harbor, where
he was active in both council and dart ball.

James Fishburn, 71, of Port Clinton, OH, passed away, Thursday, April
3, 2008 at Riverview Healthcare Campus, Oak Harbor, OH. He was born
May 18, 1936, in Cleveland, OH, the son of Frank and Alice (Haney)
Fishburn. On September 9, 1961 in Cleveland, OH, he married Brenda
Dunlap, and she survives. James served as a technician with the
National Guard for over 30 years, retiring as a Warrant Officer in
1986. He also was employed at The Pharm as a receiving clerk retiring
in 2003.
