Put-in-Bay Novelist Bob Adamov Launchs New Publication PDF Print E-mail

ImageAward-winning Put-in-Bay novelist, Bob Adamov, and popular Put-in-Bay singer, songwriter and comedian, Mike “Mad Dog” Adams have partnered on Adamov’s fifth book in the Put-in-Bay-based Emerson Moore series. Each copy of The Other Side of Hell includes a copy of Adams’ new 11 song CD by the same name. Adamov and Adams will be signing copies of the new book and CD at Put-in-Bay’s Round House Bar from 1:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, May 24th.

The Ottawa County Republican Fourth Thursday Lunch Bunch will meet Thursday, May 22, at the Mon Ami Restaurant on Catawba.  A speaker on a timely topic will enlighten the group as well as getting to know
current candidates for the General Election. No reservations are necessary for the Noon buffet lunch, and all are welcome.

The regular luncheon monthly meeting of the National Active & Retired Federal Employee Association (NARFE), Vacationland Chapter #1030, will be held at Noon on Monday, May 19 at Peace Lutheran Church Social Hall in Port Clinton on Jefferson Street, across from the high school.
Jack Stables, from the Erie-Ottawa Regional Airport, will be presenting.

Safety Council Plans Monthly Meeting PDF Print E-mail

The Ottawa County Safety Council will hold its monthly meeting on Wednesday, May 21 at 11:30 a.m. The location for this luncheon meeting has been changed to the Ottawa County Resource Centre, State Route 163 in Oak Harbor. The featured speaker will be Nanette Russell, RN, of Fremont Memorial Occupational HealthLink. She will be presenting the Remain at Work services. Members are encouraged to RSVP to Denise Ventrone, OCIC, at (419) 898-6242.
