Danbury Local Schools, through its Community Education Department, will be offering a four-week gentle yoga class on Monday evenings from 6-7 p.m. beginning March 3.
Learn to reduce stress through proper breathing, stretching and relaxation. Yoga also compliments other forms of exercise. Wear loose, comfortable clothes and bring a mat or blanket. The instructor will be Donna Lueke.
Fee for the session is $32. To register in advance, call Mrs. Henninger at 419-798-5185 Monday through Thursday after 3 p.m.

Boy Scout Troop 360 and the Webelos 1 and 2 Dens of Cub Scout Pack 361
in Port Clinton recently participated in Klondike Derby Weekend at Camp
Miakonda in Toledo on January 18-20. Boy Scouts that went were Zach
Auxter, Robert Beck, Cody Blackford, Tyler Blohm, Ian Chandler, Luke
Evans, Bo Grey, Brady Krupp, Cody McDavitt, Anthony Monaco, Drew
Smercina, Randy Uebbing, Neilin Rojas, Zach Baugh, Devin Skull, Tyler
Evans, Quinton Babcock, Logan Harnisch, Caleb Kirk, and Jeff Sedilko,
Lance Taylor. Webelos Scouts were Tristan Auxter, Austen Bauer, Noah
Carr, Ellijah Dominquez, Payton Evans, Joshua Fisher, Alex Karshuk,
Michael Lay, Salvatore Martell, Logan Royster, Jacob Sedilko, Jalen
Skutt, and Adam Wells.

Port Clinton Youth Baseball 13 and under Travel Team try-outs will be held on Saturday, February 16 and Saturday, February 23 from 1-3 p.m. at the Port Clinton High School. Participants must be 13 or younger by May 1, 2008.

Students of the Month Chosen at PCHS |

 Port Clinton High School recently announced the Students of the Month
for November and December 2007. Kristen Beck and Sean Kubicek are
November 2007 Students of the Month. For December 2007, Kendall
Meisler and Jamie Que have received the honor.
Kristen Beck has been active in Drama Club during her time at Port
Clinton High School with roles in many PCHS productions and serving
both as Treasurer of Drama Club and Secretary this year. In addition,
she is President of German Club, Captain of the Academic Challenge Team
and was a delegate to Buckeye Girls State. Other activities include
Mock Trial, National Honor Society, Ski Club, Band and Orchestra.
