Salem All Stars 4-H Club Elects Officers |

The Salem All Stars 4-H Club had its 3rd meeting on Tuesday, March 11.
The meetings are being held this year at the Carroll Township Complex.
During the March 11th meeting, the members of the club held the Officer
Election for 2008. The officers of the club for this year are:
President, Taylor Biggert; Vice President, Lindsay Rodenhauser;
Secretary, Jaimee Slauterbeck; Treasurer, Hope Thorbahn; News
Reporter, Elyse Hablitzel; Health Officer, Nick Thorbahn; Safety
Officer, Ashley Buhrow and Recreation Directors, Ben Genzman and
Clifford Biggert.

Babson College announced that Lauren Perl of Port Clinton has qualified for the fall 2007 semester Dean's List which recognizes outstanding student scholarship.

Port Clinton Students to Visit the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame |

High schoolers of Port Clinton High School will have a Rock and Roll
Hall of Fame educational program delivered right to their classroom.
Using a high-tech, fully interactive videoconferencing system, these
students will learn how key moments in rock and roll history have
helped to shape the world. Their teachers will be in Cleveland.

Bataan Students Donate to Joyful Connections |

Every year, students at Bataan donate the proceeds from the Santa Shop
to a local charity. This year, with the help of the Elementary Parents
Club, Bataan students raised $1,150 for Joyful Connections. Recently,
students presented Bill Sharp, President of the Joyful Connections
Board of Directors, with the check.
