ImagePort Clinton Middle School recently announced that Zach Baugh, Kirstin Winke and Arica Gonzales have been named Students of the Month.
Grade 6 student Zach Baugh has been involved in soccer, scouts and model club.  He enjoys riding horses, four-wheeling and hunting.  His community service projects include setting up at the county fair and snow removal.  At Port Clinton Middle School he enjoys the variety of classes available.  His career aspirations include being a farmer.  Zach is the son of Chris Prine and Bryan Baugh.

ImageHuron High School teachers Sarah Mizla and Tanny Vonthron were recently recognized as Firelands Hero Honorable Mention Award Winners by the American Red Cross. The brunch and awards ceremony was held on Saturday, March 1 at the Nia Center at Kalahari Resort They were nominated by a parent of a student for going above and beyond the call of duty when the student had a series of illnesses that kept her out of school for months. Each of them took a special interest in the student, spending time outside of class to be sure her studies did not suffer while she recuperated.

OHHS Vocal Music Department to hold Dinner and Auction PDF Print E-mail

The Oak Harbor High School Vocal Music Department will hold an Italian Dinner and Community Service Auction on Saturday, April 5 at the high school.
The $10 per person ticket includes: choice of meat, veggie, or chicken, lasagna, salad and breadsticks, dessert, and beverage plus bidding ability on Silent Auction items and bidding ability on Grand Auction items.
