ImageBonnie Greer, Margaretta High School’s French teacher, was presented with the Ohio Foreign Language Assocation’s Beginning Teacher award earlier this month.  The Awards Luncheon was on Saturday, April 5th in Cincinnati, Ohio during the organization’s annual conference.

ImageOak Harbor DECA members recently completed their first community cookbook. The cookbook includes recipes from family, friends, teachers and community members. In addition, the books include a helpful tips section and a dedication to Sgt. Keith Kline who gave his life fighting for our country.

Fall semester registration begins April 16
A long-time program at Terra Community College has a new look to reflect what its graduates will see in their 21st century careers - a greener and more environmentally-friendly America.
When classes start in the fall of 2008, there will be two new courses in the architectural/construction curriculum at Terra. Fundamentals of Alternative Energy will be offered in the fall, and Sustainable Architecture will follow in the spring semester.

Student Honored by Lions Club PDF Print E-mail

ImageThe Lions Club of the Marblehead Peninsula has announced the selection of Annie Tuttamore as March's Student of the Month.  Annie is a Danbury High School senior and the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bill Tuttamore.
Annie is vice president of the Danbury High School National Honor Society and secretary of the Foreign Language Club.  She is a member of the Key Club and Laker Chorus and is teacher's aid. Annie is involved in the Danbury drama productions and has earned letters in chorus and volleyball.  She served as co-captain of the volleyball team this fall. She attended HOBY as a junior.
