Thomas L. Bodi, 56, of Oak Harbor died Monday, January 7, 2008, in his
home. He was born November 15, 1951, in Port Clinton to Isaac, Jr. and
Florence (Hanney) Bodi. Thomas worked for several years at Riverview
Industries in Oak Harbor and enjoyed watching “The Dukes of Hazzard”
and cartoons, especially “Popeye, the Sailorman.”

Cheryl Lynn Streng, 41, of Marblehead, OH and formerly of Florida,
passed away Saturday, December 29, 2007 in Tiffin, OH. Cheryl was born
on September 11, 1966 in Marysville, OH to James E. and Carla June
(Shields) Streng. She was a graduate of Danbury High School in 1984.
Cheryl loved music and playing the guitar and especially enjoyed the
musical artist Melissa Etheridge. Cheryl liked to read Steven King
novels and enjoyed fishing.

Eugene P. Weisend, 89, of Port Clinton, OH died Thursday, December 27,
2007 at his residence. He was born on November 11, 1918 in Waterford,
OH to William and Carol (Lauer) Weisend. He graduated from Waterford
High School in 1936. On November 25, 1937 in Marietta, OH he married
Mary (Waterman) and she survives. Eugene worked as a terminal manager
for Motor Express in Sandusky, OH for many years, retiring in 1981.

Vicki Lynn Carnicom, 47, of Sandusky, died Monday December 24, 2007 at
Stein Hospice Care Center in Sandusky. She was born October 5, 1960 in
Port Clinton, the daughter of Gilbert J. Carnicom, Jr. and Janet E.
(Nichols) Carnicom.
Vicki was employed at Firelands Community Hospital as a Case Management
Supervisor and a counselor in the Psychiatric Unit for the last 12 1/2
years. Prior to that she was contracted through Ford for the EAP
program and was with the Boy's Village of Sandusky.

Roland G. Taylor, 80, of Marblehead, died Wednesday December 26, 2007
at his residence. He was born February 19, 1927 in Cleveland, the son
of the late Jerome and Ruth (James) Taylor.
Roland was retired from the Fairhill Mental Hospital. He was a veteran
of the US Navy, a member of the American Legion and attended the Grace
Baptist Church.
