Arthur H. Blausey Sr., 71, of Oak Harbor died Friday, January 25, 2008,
in his home. He was born March 14, 1936, in Martin, OH to Alfred and
Orlena (Kaiser) Blausey. On January 11, 1958 in Elkhart, Indiana he
married the love of his life Jeanne Swathwood, and she survives. For
13years Arthur worked for Formetal Inc. as a roller operator, and later
leaving to work for Chrysler in 1969. In 1980, he would return to
Formetal as a tool and die maker where he would later retire in 1998.
Arthur loved camping, fishing, bowling, golfing, woodworking, and
antique tractors. He belonged to the Sons of American Legion,
S.C.R.A.P, and the USBC. Most importantly Arthur loved his family.

Howard Barefoot, 88, died Saturday, January 19, 2008, peacefully at his
home. Howard worked for years as an electrician and was a proud member
of the IBEW. Howard loved fishing, vegetable gardening and tinkering.
He enjoyed occasional trips to Atlantic City, Las Vegas and having
coffee with the gang at Mayhew’s.

Lawrence Joseph Kokinda, 60, of Frankfort, Ill died Friday January 18,
2008 at St. James Hospital in Olympia Fields, Ill. He was born February
26, 1947 in Port Clinton, the son of Joseph F. and Eleanor (Hugg)
Kokinda.
Larry was a graduate of the Ohio State University and was employed for
33 years with the US Gypsum Company. He was a 1st Lieutenant in the US
Army during the Vietnam War. Larry's passion was stock car racing. He
was a loving husband and a devoted father who will be greatly missed.

Warren O. Morgan, 80, of Port Clinton, OH, passed away, Monday, January
14, 2008 at Riverview Healthcare Campus, Oak Harbor, OH. Warren was
born on February 17, 1927 in Port Clinton, OH to Orval Clayton and
Gertrude (Buss) Morgan. On December 27, 1947 in Fremont, OH, he
married Thecla V. Nitschke, and she preceded him in death on January
28, 2007. Warren served in the U. S. Navy during WWII, where he earned
the Victory Medal, The American Area Campaign Medal and the Asiatic
Pacific Area Campaign Medal. He was the owner/operator of Morgan's TV
& Appliance store for 26 years, retiring in 1982.

Irene P. Dewitz, 87, of Oak Harbor, died Friday, January 11, 2008, in
Riverview Healthcare Campus, Oak Harbor. Irene was born November 6,
1920, in Toledo, Ohio, to Charles W. and Edith (Hoedt) Ravas. On June
8, 1939, in Oak Harbor she married Edgar C. Dewitz, who died October
19, 1999.
