Richard “Dick” Boysen, 80, of Oak Harbor, OH, passed away Wednesday,
February 6, 2008 at Riverview Healthcare Campus, Oak Harbor, OH.
Richard was born on April 9, 1927, in Oak Harbor, OH to Carl and Leona
(Regal) Boysen. On June 30, 1973 in Buckeye Lake, OH he married
Margaret Smith, and she survives. Richard was employed at the Erie Army
Depot’s Optical Shop during the 1950s.

Emma G. Brown, 91, of Port Clinton, OH, passed away Thursday, February
07, 2008 at Edgewood Manor Nursing Center, Port Clinton, OH. She was
born November 9, 1916 the daughter of Joseph and Martha (Millen)
Grafton. Her husband, Charles F. Brown, preceded her in death in 1975.

Josephine May "Jip" Monak, 93, of Lakeside, OH died Friday, Feb. 1,
2008 at Otterbein North Shore, Lakeside, OH. She was born Nov. 7, 1914
in Lakeside, OH the daughter of the late Isaac J. and Alice (Palmer)
Sauvey. She married Vincent E. Monak on Sept. 30, 1939, and he
preceded her in death in 1992. Mrs. Monak was a bookkeeper for the
Marblehead Bank and previously worked at Porter Hardware in Marblehead.

Edith L. Deitzel, 70, of Catawba Island, died Friday, February 1, 2008
at her daughter’s residence. Edith was born on January 17, 1938 in
Port Clinton, OH to Donald and Bertha (Leach) Witter. On August 13,
1960, in LaCarne, OH, she married Donald Deitzel, who preceded her in
death on June 7, 2001. Edith was a homemaker. She loved gardening,
growing roses, crafts, reading, cooking and was a collector of
cookbooks. Edith loved spending time with her family, especially
granddaughter Allie.

John Elmer Bankey, 73, of Marblehead, died Friday February 1, 2008 at
Firelands Regional Medical Center in Sandusky. He was born January 12,
1935 in Tontogany, the son of Wilber and Gertrude (Myers) Bankey.
John was a veteran of the U.S. Army during the Korean War and was a retired school teacher. He was a member of the Moose Lodge.
