Oak Harbor falls to Huron

Oak Harbor Varsity and JV Volleyball fell to an extremely good Huron team Tuesday night.  The JV lost in two 14-25 and 19-25.  The Varsity fell in three 7-25, 10-25, 10-25.  

Annie Quisno led the Rockets with 4 kills; Jordyn Thorp and Athena Eli each had 18 serve receptions; Emma Bergman and Kasey Sundermeier each contributed 5 assists.

Oak Harbor falls to Edison

The Lady Rockets (JV and Varsity) fell to Edison Thursday evening.  The JV lost 20-25 and 21-25.  The Varsity lost in 4 9-25, 19-25, 25-20, 19-25.  

Jordyn Thorp and Rebekah Rayburn each had 6 kills and Ally Bloomer and Athena Eli contributed 5 kills apiece.  Athena Eli was 29 for 33 serve receiving while Faith Konieczny was 15 for 17.  Kasey Sundermeier had 9 assists.  

The Rockets have the weekend off and take on Huron at home on Tuesday, September 2; the JV start at 5 p.m.

Rockets defeat Redskins Tuesday

Oak Harbor JV defeated Port Clinton Tuesday, August 26, in two games: 25-15 and 25-20. Oak Harbor varsity team won in four games: 20-25, 25-17, 25-16 and 25-21.

Leading the team to victory was Jordyn Thorp with 15 kills and Ally Bloomer with 11. Athena Eli had 20 digs and Faith Koneiczny with 10 digs and only 1 dig error.

Both teams are currently 3-0.

The Rockets take on Edison at Edison on Thursday, August 28, at 5 p.m.
