Lady Redskins can’t stop Lady Rockets

The Port Clinton Lady Redskins faced their county rival, the Oak Harbor Lady Rockets sporting a sparkling 21-0 record in the regular season finale for both. The Lady Redskins were looking to pull off an upset and spoil the perfect season for Oak Harbor. Last season, it was the Lady Redskins that won the SBC over a favored Lady Rocket team and PC was hoping for a repeat on this night.


Redskin boys miss district bowling by four pins

The Redskin boys’ bowling team narrowly missed a trip to the OHSAA District Bowling Tournament by four pins in sectional qualifying at Star Lanes at the Harbor Thursday, Feb. 11. The Redskins rolled team games of 954-988-865 for a 2807 total and added 1242 in baker for a grand score of 4049. Willard finished fourth with a score of 4053. Woodmore boys won the sectional, Vermilion was second and Fostoria third.


Tigers cool off Redskins

After facing much adversity the first half of the season, the Port Clinton Redskins were finally making some noise. After winning five of their last six, including an upset of conference leading Perkins on the Pirate’s home floor, the Redskins had put themselves in position to make a run at a possible conference title. To stay in the championship race the Redskins would have to defeat the Huron Tigers.
