Season Review: The Port Clinton Lady Redskins were looking forward to the 2015-16 season as soon as the 14-15 season ended as they would enter the year as defending Sandusky Bay Conference champions for the first time. But that anticipation soon changed to despair as a pair of knee injuries downed two senior starters before the season even started.  What started as a season of high hopes led by six seniors turned into one of opportunity and learning for the younger members of the squad forced into service by circumstance. Despite the setback, the Lady Redskins improved as the season wore on and were playing their best basketball as the season ended. Their best effort of the season came up just short of an upset of SBC champion Oak Harbor in the sectional tournament.

Redskins knocked out of tournament by Lexington

For the Port Clinton Redskin faithful, much of the first half of their sectional championship game against the Lexington Minutemen was a reminder of what could have been. The Redskins were facing the number one seed with a stellar record of 20-2 at the Ashland Sectional and late in the second quarter the Redskins had the lead 25-23. The Redskins were at full strength after a season that saw players in out of the lineup mostly due to injuries.

Lady Redskins advance on buzzer beater, bow out to Lady Rockets

The Port Clinton Lady Redskins faced the Bowling Green Lady Bobcats to open the Ohio High School Athletic Association Sectional Tournament at Genoa. It was a game that will be remembered by many as the Lady Redskins downed BG 42-41 at the buzzer as time expired.
