ICS announces art show winners

Over the weekend of May 7 Immaculate Conception School held their annual art show. The show was judged by an outside artist and ribbons were awarded for first, second and third places. Other students received art achievement ribbons for outstanding effort. Many pieces from the show will be sent to the Ottawa County Fair to be displayed and judged this summer. The show was organized by art teacher Joni Hoffman.


Immaculate Conception Catholic Church prepares for VBS

A very dedicated team has been busy for months at Immaculate Conception Parish preparing a wonderful week for the children of the community. VBS (Vacation Bible School) this year runs from June 6-10 and is open to all children age 3 through grade 5. This year’s theme is Barnyard Roundup: Jesus Gathers Us Together.


ICS celebrates the school’s diamond 30th year

Preparations for the 30th annual ICS auction are fully underway at Immaculate Conception School. The school is a bustle of activity as the final touches are being put into place for the largest fundraiser of the year. Classroom projects are being painted and baskets of every sort are being assembled. On Saturday, April 16, ICS will host its annual auction themed A Diamond Celebration.
