B-C-S 5th graders learn about stocks

Recently the Oak Harbor High School DECA program's financial literacy promotion project, which included high school students Austin Wiegand, Nathan Segaard and Samantha Durivage, partnered with two of Mrs. Krieger’s fifth grade mathematics classes at Oak Harbor Middle School. Krieger spearheaded the activity by registering her students into the Toledo Blade’s Stock Market Contest, sponsored and judged by Fifth Third Bank and the Toledo Blade.


Port Clinton High School to Host Job Fair

On March 19 Port Clinton High School will be hosting a job fair. While the job fair is to help students gain knowledge of career skills, it will also help local businesses fill their summer employment needs. Potential employers from the tri-county area are invited to attend. 

Business owners or operators with summer staffing needs are invited to be part of the job fair.

The Job Fair will be held on Tuesday, March 19, from 1-3 p.m. for Port Clinton High School students.

Employers that would like to reserve a table at the Job Fair are encouraged to contact Rick Dominick, PCHS Guidance Counselor, at 419.734.2147 option 4, or email This email address is being protected from spambots.
