One of the goals for the Lady Lakers this season was to make a move into the top half of the TAAC hierarchy. Looking to do the same are the Gibsonburg Golden Bears which created an exciting matchup. It looked good for Danbury most of the game as the Lady Lakers held the lead for the first three quarters and most of the fourth before the Lady Bears took their first lead of the game with a minute left to go. Danbury was able to retake the lead and needed a defensive stop for the win. A Golden Bear shot with four seconds left proved to be the game winner and they escaped Marblehead with a 51-50 victory of the Lady Lakers. Haley Hoffman and Erin Uhinck led Danbury with 12 points each.
