Danbury Township executive session

The Board of Trustees of Danbury Township will meet in executive session on Monday, May 18, at the Danbury Township Hall, 5972 E. Port Clinton Eastern Road, Marblehead, Ohio 43440, beginning at 6 p.m. to interview two potential candidates to fill the open full time Firefighter EMT-P for the Danbury Township Volunteer Fire Department.


Stein Hospice and Danbury Local Schools to pay tribute to local veterans

Stein Hospice, in partnership with Danbury Local Schools Social Science Department, will host Honoring our Veterans Wednesday, May 20, 6:30-8:30 p.m. in the Danbury Local Schools’ auditorium.  The program will commence with the presentation of the colors by local Marblehead VFW Post 7572, followed by a screening of Honor Flight: One Last Mission. The evening will close with a ceremony recognizing attending veterans.


Danbury Township holds blue ribbon dog show

On Sunday, May 17, the second annual Danbury Township blue ribbon dog show was held at the Bark until Dark off leash Dog Park. There were 46 dogs registered at the show and close to $800 was raised to benefit the Humane Society of Ottawa County. Over 150 attended the event.
